Ahoy, you wax-loving readers! Have you ever wondered where the wax for your (soon to be) favorite candles comes from? We have an answer for you - and it's not as olive as you think! Contrary to what some of you may think, olive wax is not made from olive oil. Instead, it is extracted from the leftovers of olive oil production - Bella Italia . Yes, you read that right, from the leftovers! These are the remains of the olives after the second pressing, from which the wax is extracted.
Olive wax candles are therefore not only an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional candles, but also an upcycling product. By using olive wax, resources are conserved and environmental impact is minimized.

What are the properties of the olive wax candle?
The fine crystalline structure of the olive wax ensures a special light reflection when the candle burns. A fascinating lattice pattern forms on the outer edge of the candle, making each candle a unique work of art. Olive wax candles have a long burning time, are vegan and fragrance-free.
